Like many agency owners, Roger Sitkins began his insurance carrier in his parents insurance agency in Wyandotte, MI. His dad was the Life agent and his mom was the P&C agent. The youngest of 3 sons, he came back from college to help his mom run the agency after his father became paralyzed. His mom eventually retired and Roger moved the agency out of his parents basement into downtown Wyandotte.
For many years, Roger successfully ran Sitkins Insurance Agency. But as fate would have it, while recovering from a back injury, Roger read a book Marketing Property & Casualty Insurance by George Nordhaus.
It took just one book and Roger knew he wanted to be a consultant to agencies. From Wyandotte to Los Angeles, CA and eventually Sanibel, FL, Roger's career as one of the nations top consultants was born.
Roger & Gary Holgate spent years traveling to independent insurance agencies around the country. After Gary retired, Sitkins & Holgate became Sitkins Group, Inc.
Roger started doing Producer training camps on the weekends. After seeing the success of these weekend events, Janey Cahill's husband asked, "Why doesn't Roger do these training camps full time?" Since those initial camps, Sitkins Group has trained thousands of agency team members and worked with hundreds of independent insurance agencies on the path to becoming their best version possible.
Years of being a road warrior were starting to take toll. While at a speaking event in Pebble Beach, CA, Roger had an epiphany. He came home and created The Sitkins 100. The first ever membership consulting model in our industry.

Kari is a true sales & marketing professional within the insurance industry with nearly 25 years of experience. The majority of those years were spent in the independent agency world. She has been an owner and partner of a firm, perpetuated her firm externally, and spent time as the Chief Sales Officer for one of the largest middle-market insurance agencies in the nation.
Her true passion is to deliver strategy, inspiration, insurance knowledge, and coaching for independent insurance agencies. She is fluent in Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, Life Insurance, and Captives.
Kari lives in the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, sailing in the Puget Sound, nature walks with her dogs and spending time with her three children.CONNECT WITH KARI
